Creating your workspace

For HR administrators

A workspace is your organisation's private tenant on Jadiroon. Every workspace is single-organisation: one tenant, one set of employees and roles, one branded login URL.

How a workspace is created

There is no public sign-up. Workspaces are created for you by the Jadiroon team (or, on a dedicated deployment, by your own platform administrators) from the Platform Console. To get one, book a demo and we will set it up with you.

When your workspace is created, the platform:

  • Creates the workspace with your organisation's name, its URL slug (/{your-slug}/...), its language and, optionally, its sector and organisation size.
  • Loads the defaults every workspace starts with: candidate and trainer email templates, offer templates, role permissions and work-time profiles.
  • Optionally copies the configuration and Functional Structure of another workspace you already run — for example, a new cluster set up like its headquarters. No people or records are ever copied. See Creating a workspace for exactly what is copied.
  • Invites you as the workspace's first HR administrator.

Activating your account

You receive an invitation email with an activation link, valid for 7 days.

  1. Open the link. It confirms the invitation is still valid.
  2. Set your password — at least eight characters.
  3. Sign in at /login with your email and that password.

Your email address counts as verified by the activation link, so there is no separate verification email. If the link has expired, ask whoever created the workspace to resend it; the new link replaces the old one.

Onboarding

If your workspace was created empty, Jadiroon routes you into a four-step onboarding wizard the first time you sign in, and blocks access to /{your-slug}/app until you finish it:

  1. Sector — pick the sector that best fits your organization (it may already be set for you)
  2. Sub-sectors — choose the sub-sectors under that sector
  3. Job families — choose the job families that exist under those sub-sectors
  4. Job Descriptions — curate the job descriptions that make up each job family you picked

There is no separate competencies step: every technical and general competency attached to the job families you choose is applied to your workspace automatically. These choices build your workspace's Functional Structure (see Competency and taxonomy). You cannot skip ahead — if you try to open a later step before completing the current one, you are dropped back to where you left off.

The Job Descriptions step suggests job descriptions for each job family you picked, drawn from التصنيف السعودي الموحد للمهن (SSCO) — Saudi Arabia's official GASTAT national job description classification, built on ISCO-08 — matched to your job families through a crosswalk. Suggestions are grouped one panel per job family, each with a search box and a toggle per job description. High-confidence matches start pre-selected; uncertain matches sit under a Pending review heading and are never pre-selected — those are yours to decide on. You can edit any suggested English name inline, and add your own job descriptions for anything the SSCO list doesn't cover.

Finishing the Job Descriptions step completes onboarding and lands you on your workspace home at /{your-slug}/app. Your selections become the workspace's real Job Description rows — its starting job architecture, scoped to the sub-sector and job family each one belongs to. The Org chart then fills in automatically as a mandate-grouped coverage grid.

If your workspace was created as a copy of another workspace, its Functional Structure is already in place, so there is no onboarding: you land straight on your workspace home.

Your workspace's display name can be changed later in Workspace settings. The slug — the /{your-slug}/ part of every URL — is fixed when the workspace is created.
