The employee file: the people of the organization, on their positions, with their managers. Usually the ERP owns it and Jadiroon mirrors it; hires made in Jadiroon flow back the other way.
Resources
| Resource | API | Pages |
|---|---|---|
| Employees | CRUD (DELETE = offboard), archive, upsert by external id, bulk | Employees |
Typical flow
- Load the workforce once with bulk upserts (see Bulk migration).
- Push changes with
PUT /api/v1/employees/by-external/{system}/{externalId}: new hires in the ERP, moves (currentPosition), manager changes (manager). - Offboard leavers with
DELETE /api/v1/employees/{id}: the record stays with statusFORMER_EMPLOYEEand you receiveemployee.offboarded. - Subscribe to
employee.*to receive hires made in Jadiroon (employee.created) and profile changes employees make themselves.
Rules worth knowing
- The API never hard-deletes a person; archive with
POST /api/v1/employees/{id}/archive. - Salary is not part of the employee object.
- A position at capacity refuses another employee (
409 conflict,position_full).
