A training position is the record that describes a course or workshop your organisation needs delivered and defines the criteria you will use to evaluate and select a trainer. You create one from the Training tab → New training position.
Step 1 — Course topic
Enter the course topic in both Arabic and English. Both fields are required because the public posting page is bilingual and the AI screening prompt uses the English topic as its primary context. Keep the topic specific: "ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor — 3-day" produces better AI screening than "Quality training".
Step 2 — Trainer qualifications
Three free-text fields capture what you need from the trainer:
- Required qualifications — academic background, professional certifications, or equivalent demonstrated expertise (e.g., "CIPD Level 7 or equivalent MHRSD-accredited credential").
- Required licenses — statutory licences the trainer must hold for this topic (e.g., "SCFHS training-provider accreditation", "TVTC trainer card").
- Required experience — years and context (e.g., "Minimum 5 years delivering compliance training to teams of 20+ in the financial sector").
The AI screening step uses these three fields verbatim as part of its matching prompt, so precision here directly improves screening accuracy. If a field is not applicable, leave it blank — the AI treats an empty field as unconstrained.
Step 3 — What your organisation will provide
Six checkboxes indicate which logistics your organisation is covering. This information appears on the public posting so trainers know exactly what they need to bring. Check any that apply:
| Provision | What it means |
|---|---|
| Venue | Your organisation provides the training room or facility |
| Instructional design | You will supply an instructional designer to help structure the course |
| Presentation materials | Your organisation creates or provides slide decks |
| Handouts | Printed or digital participant materials are your responsibility |
| AV equipment | Projector, screens, sound, microphones, etc. are provided |
| Certificates | Your organisation issues the completion certificates |
Leaving a box unchecked means the trainer is expected to provide or arrange that item themselves. Many trainers factor unchecked items into their day-rate bid.
Step 4 — Price range and target
Three integer fields, all in SAR per training day:
- Minimum price — the lowest day-rate you will consider.
- Maximum price — the highest day-rate you will pay.
- Target price — your internal budget benchmark. This is not shown on the public posting; it is used only for the price-fit signal shown to HR in the screening result.
Trainers whose desired day-rate falls below the minimum or above the maximum are still accepted into the pipeline; the price-fit signal flags them as outside range so you can decide consciously rather than having the system auto-reject on price alone.
Step 5 — Logistics and scheduling
Additional fields that appear on the public posting and help trainers assess fit:
- Delivery mode — Onsite, Online, or Hybrid.
- Duration — number of training days.
- Number of trainees — expected cohort size.
- Training language — Arabic, English, or both.
- City — for onsite or hybrid positions.
- Preferred start date — target date for the first training day.
None of these fields are mandatory, but filling them reduces back-and-forth with applicants.
Step 6 — Generate description & requirements with AI
Once the course topic is filled in, click Generate description & requirements with AI. A single request produces, all at once:
- The description in both Arabic and English (faithful translations of each other), each composed from a summary, learning objectives, and logistics notes.
- The three trainer-requirement fields (qualifications, licenses, experience).
If you have already typed anything into the qualifications/licenses/experience fields, the AI treats it as a hint and refines it; otherwise it drafts those fields from scratch. Everything it generates is editable — review and adjust before saving.
Step 7 — Hiring pathway
Choose how applications will be accepted:
- Internal only — the position is not published publicly. Use this when you already have candidate trainers in mind and want to process them through the pipeline without an open call.
- Internal first, then external — the position is held for internal sourcing for the number of days configured in your workspace settings (default 14 days), then automatically becomes publicly visible if not filled.
- External — the position is published immediately once you open hiring.
Step 8 — Saudization policy
Set whether the engagement is restricted by nationality. This mirrors the Saudization policy on hiring positions:
- No filter — any trainer may apply.
- Saudis prioritized — non-Saudis may still apply; the posting carries a "Saudi nationals preferred" badge.
- Saudi-only (restricted) — only Saudi nationals may apply. The public posting carries a "Saudi nationals only" badge, and the application form blocks submission when the applicant selects a non-Saudi nationality.
Applicants choose their nationality on the application form, so the Saudi-only rule is enforced at submission time.
Saving and opening hiring
Two buttons appear at the bottom of the wizard:
- Save as draft — the position is created at
CLOSEDstatus. No posting is published and trainers cannot apply yet. Use this to review the position with colleagues before opening it. - Save and open hiring — the position is created and hiring is opened immediately. If the pathway is External or the internal window has already elapsed, the public posting URL is generated at the moment you save.
You can also save as draft first and open hiring later from the position detail page.
Editing a position
After a position is created, HR admins can change any of its details. Open the position from the training board and click Edit in the top-right of the detail page. This opens the same wizard prefilled with the position's current values.
Make your changes and click Save changes to return to the detail page, or Cancel to discard them. Editing never changes the position's hiring status or its public apply link — opening and closing hiring stays controlled by the buttons on the detail page.
The detail page's Training position details panel is collapsed by default; click its header to expand it and review every field.
