Start here as an HR administrator

For HR administrators

If you are the first HR administrator of your organisation's Jadiroon workspace, this is your starting point. The platform is built to be set up quickly — you can have a usable workspace in under thirty minutes — but the order matters.

What you will do, in order

There are a few steps before you bring your first real person into the system. Together they take less than an hour.

  1. Activate your account. Your workspace — your organisation's private tenant — is created for you by the Jadiroon team, and you receive an invitation email with an activation link. Open it, set your password and sign in. See Creating your workspace.
  2. Complete onboarding. The first time you sign in, a mandatory four-step wizard builds your workspace's competency taxonomy and starting job structure — pick your sector, then the sub-sectors and job families that fit your organisation, then curate the job descriptions suggested for those families from Saudi Arabia's official SSCO classification. Competencies are never chosen by hand — every competency attached to a job family you pick is applied automatically. The app stays locked until you finish. (If your workspace was set up as a copy of another workspace you run, this step is already done.) See Creating your workspace.
  3. Invite your team. Other HR administrators, line managers, and employees all enter the system through invitations you send. The invitation email contains a one-time token that expires in seven days. See Bringing your team in.

After that, you have a real workspace with real people, ready for real work.

The "Get started in 2 minutes" home strip

The first time you open /{slug}/app, a setup checklist sits at the top of the page. It opens with the two steps that get a real workspace off the ground, each deep-linking straight into the right import flow:

  1. Create your org structure (opens the org chart overview — checks itself once at least one level exists).
  2. Add your employees (opens People with the employee import dialog ready — checks itself once at least one employee exists).
  3. Invite your team (checks itself once workspace membership exceeds one person).
  4. Create your first role.
  5. Upload your logo (from the Workspace card under Settings).
  6. Configure email templates (any template a human edits past seed time counts).

Each step is computed from real workspace state, so the tick marks reflect what you have actually done. Once every step is checked, the strip flips to a brief "All set" celebration banner for five seconds and disappears.

What comes next

Once your team is in, you choose where to start. Most organisations begin with hiring — that is what the platform was originally built around. Some begin with assessing existing employees. Either path works; the Hire → Develop → Grow arc explains how the three connect.

What you will not be asked to do

Three things the platform deliberately does not require of you in your first session:

  • Pick a pricing tier. Pricing is handled separately from the product trial.
  • Build a competency taxonomy from scratch. Jadiroon ships a Saudi-curated global taxonomy; onboarding just has you select the sector slice that fits you, and you can extend it with custom job families and competencies later.
  • Configure data residency or compliance posture. Defaults are PDPL-aligned. The full posture lives at /trust.

When you are ready, Creating your workspace is the next page.
