Stage: Onboarding (coming with the feature)

Today

• A hire creates the employee record: you receive application.hired and employee.created, with the new employee's position and manager, which is the trigger most onboarding tools need.
• The employee can then be found with GET /api/v1/employees/{id}, and by your id once you link it (PUT /api/v1/employees/by-external/…).

What to expect

Onboarding tasks and orientation sessions will follow the same pattern as every other stage: readable objects, events when tasks are assigned and completed, and the same permissions as in the app. Additive changes like these ship in v1 without breaking existing integrations.
