Your learning page surfaces the top recommendations the platform has for you — courses, programmes, and learning paths matched to the gaps it sees in your competency profile. It is curated to the Saudi market: IPA, TVTC, university executive education, HRDF-supported programmes, and the major MOOCs where they cover competencies the local market does not.
Where to find it
/{slug}/me/learning. Available from the navigation tabs.
What you see
A ranked list of up to five recommendations. Each card shows:
- Title and provider — e.g., Strategic Decision Making, IPA Riyadh.
- Format — online / in person — Riyadh / blended.
- Duration — 6 weeks, 2-day workshop, etc.
- Cost band — under SAR 5,000 / SAR 5,000–20,000 / over SAR 20,000.
- Competencies addressed — the taxonomy competencies this item is designed to develop.
- Why this is recommended for you — a short rationale tying the item to your profile gaps.
- Add to plan button — adds it as a milestone on your growth plan.
- Open at provider link — opens the provider's page for this item in a new tab.
How recommendations are generated
For your profile:
- The platform identifies the largest gaps between your current levels and the requirements of your target role (or current role if no target is set).
- It queries the curated catalogue, filtering to items that address one or more of your gap competencies.
- The model ranks the candidates considering your gap profile, your tenure and band, and the catalogue's notes.
- The top five are surfaced.
The list refreshes whenever your profile changes (a new assessment lands) or your target role changes.
Adding to your plan
Click Add to plan on any recommendation. A milestone is created on your growth plan with:
- The recommendation's title.
- The recommendation's rationale as the description.
- The competencies addressed as the milestone's linked competencies.
- Status not started.
The recommendation card flips to a Added to plan state so you don't double-add the same item.
What is not on this page
- Enrolment. The platform does not enrol you in the recommended programme. Click Open at provider to go to the provider's page and enrol there.
- Funding requests. The platform notes when a recommended item is HRDF-eligible but does not initiate funding workflows.
- Progress tracking from the provider. When you finish a programme, you mark the milestone done on your growth plan manually. The platform does not pull progress from external systems.
- Custom catalogue items. You cannot add a learning item that is not in the curated catalogue. If you have one in mind, ask your line manager or HR — they can add a generic milestone to your plan that references it.
Filtering
You can filter the recommendations by:
- Format — online only, in person only, or both.
- Cost band.
- Provider — narrow to IPA, KAUST, etc.
When the recommendations feel off
Two common cases:
- Your target role is set to something the catalogue does not cover well. The recommendations are limited by the catalogue. Some specialised target roles (research scientist in a niche field, for example) will produce thin recommendations.
- Your profile has not been updated recently. Recommendations work from your competency profile. If the profile is stale, the gap signal it produces is also stale.
If neither explains it, write to hello@jadiroon.sa with the role and the recommendation that felt off. Catalogue gaps are tracked.
