When you click on any competency in your competencies page, the evidence drawer slides in from the side. It shows you exactly which measurements produced your current level on that competency — what they were, when they happened, and how much each contributed.
What is in the drawer
For the competency you clicked:
- Your current level, with a confidence badge.
- The target level from your target role, if any.
- Every contributing measurement, listed newest first.
For each measurement, the row shows:
- The assessment type (behavioural, cognitive, technical, structured interview, simulation, CV screening).
- The date the measurement was taken.
- The level it suggested for this competency.
- The fidelity weight (0.4 for CV self-report, up to 0.9 for a simulation).
- A link to the full assessment report, where you can read the result in detail.
What it does not show
- The names of other people who took the same assessment.
- Comparison rankings against peers.
- Any data not directly measured (the drawer is not editable; you cannot add evidence here).
Why the drawer matters
Two reasons:
- Auditability. Any time your level on a competency feels wrong — too high, too low, or just unexpected — the drawer lets you trace it to specific measurements. I see, my level here was set mostly by a structured interview from a year ago and a behavioural assessment from six months ago. There has not been a recent technical signal in this area.
- Conversation. When you talk to your line manager about your competencies, the drawer gives both of you a shared, specific basis. Looking at my evidence drawer for stakeholder management — the most recent signal is from the structured interview last quarter. Should we plan a fresh assessment to refresh that?
What you can do from the drawer
- Open the full assessment report for any contributing measurement.
- Add this competency to your growth plan — surfaces a milestone-creation form pre-filled with the competency.
- See learning recommendations for this competency — opens your learning page filtered to items addressing this competency.
- Request a new assessment — sends a request notification to your line manager.
When the drawer shows "Evidence not recorded"
For assessments completed before the evidence-drawer feature shipped (in v0.5 Spec D), the platform did not record per-competency contributions in the structured way the drawer needs. Older measurements still contribute to your profile (the level on the bar chart includes them), but the drawer cannot show them broken out.
This will gradually disappear as those older assessments age out of the recency window. New assessments populate the drawer fully.
What evidence does not exist for
The drawer shows assessment-derived evidence. It does not show:
- Project work. If you led a major project, that is not in the drawer; the platform does not record project outcomes in v0.5.
- Performance review notes. Performance review is outside Jadiroon.
- Self-described biography. Your CV-derived competency extractions count, but free-form self-description on your profile page does not.
If you feel the platform is missing important evidence about your competencies, the path is to ask for an assessment that captures it. The platform is built around measurements; informal evidence does not enter the profile.
